UK New Visa Rules Clocked a Record Number of International Students in 2020

Under this new point-based system, students will need a total of 70 points to get a UK Study Visa. Though they can get the required points if they can denote a pre-approved offer from any educational institution in the UK, speak & understand English, and show that they can support themselves during study abroad in the UK.

  • The student route and child student route opened on 5 October for international students.
  • The points acquired by international students are non-tradeable.
  • The required level of English will remain the same as the current Tier 4 system.
  • Graduation courses for international students will open in summer 2021, and with the easy process for UK student visa from India, it will attract students for masters and Ph.D.
