UK New Visa Rules Clocked a Record Number of International Students in 2020

Additionally, the new UK post-study work (PSW) visa will allow international students to study, live and work in the UK for a maximum of 2 years after masters and three years after doctorate or Ph.D.
Under this new point-based system, students will need a total of 70 points to get a UK Study Visa. Though they can get the required points if they can denote a pre-approved offer from any educational institution in the UK, speak & understand English, and show that they can support themselves during study abroad in the UK.

- The student route and child student route opened on 5 October for international students.
- The points acquired by international students are non-tradeable.
- The required level of English will remain the same as the current Tier 4 system.
- Graduation courses for international students will open in summer 2021, and with the easy process for UK student visa from India, it will attract students for masters and Ph.D.
